I still remember my first grade teacher telling the class that unless we brought enough candy for everyone to leave the candy at home. It occurs to me that this advice is still good today, that if government can’t provide health care for everyone then it should not provide it for anyone.

Take a good look at those who are most vocal about health care. Most are of the age they are probably on Medicare or from their appearance they may be on Medicaid. I wonder if the reason some are so vocal is because they don’t want to share the “candy” so if government does such a poor job why not just get government out of the health care business all together. Shut down Medicare, Medicaid, and all government provided health insurance programs. Let congress go out and find their own health care an pay for it out of their own pocket. Let’s put everyone on equal footing and I bet you will see a different attitude from those who are most vocal now.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many claiming to Christian use our government to try to force their religious believes.  They pass laws against prostitution, drug use, and a host of other "sins", but the one thing that Jesus did teach, the caring for the poor, the needy, and the sick is the one thing so many do not want their government to do.  These people are "Christian" right up to their pocket books then they take a very unChristian attitude.  What do they think heaven will be like?  Heaven will be 100% socialism ruled by a dictator.  If they can't deal with it hear on earth, they might as well stop going to church because they will not make it to heaven.
